Notification variables
Within the text of an email notification, you can choose to insert a variable, which is dynamic text that is automatically populated in your email when a notification is sent.
For example, you can pre-populate a customer’s first name into a notification by inserting the {{ CustomerFirstName }} variable.
When editing an email, use the Insert Variable dropdown to select a variable to insert.
The variables that we have available are:
- Customer First Name – a customer’s first name
- Customer Last Name – a customer’s last name
- Customer Portal Link – the sign-in link to the customer portal
- Credit Card Last 4 Digits – the last 4 digits of the customer’s credit card
- Credit Card Issuer – the name of the credit card issuer: Visa, MasterCard, etc.
- Form Name – the form name
